As a last minute effort, I have made some slight changes to my final pages.
I have gone over each page and added areas of darker colour to make the figures look less flat, and I believe this is a massive improvement. Simply adding tone to the characters has vastly improved the look of my narrative and I am very glad that I decided to test this out before I printed off the final versions.

Final Pages
Here are my final illustrations for my 'Haroun and the Sea of Stories' wordles sequnce. I decided to try something new for this project and use Adobe Illustrator, which is a program that I have only started using during this project. For a program that I am unfamiliar with, I feel like my illustrations have turned out good.
Vincent said during my crit that he liked my style of work based on the example I showed, so I have run with this for my final narrative and I am very happy with it. I feel that the story is easy to follow despite the initial struggle I had coming to terms with the wacky characters in the story.

Final Page Layouts
Here are my final drawn up designs for my storyboard. I have scanned them all in and will draw my final storyboards on Adobe Illustrator. For the layouts, I have kept the size of each page the same but have varied the sizes of the frames within the page.

Page Ideas
After my critique, I decided to have a think about the number and order of my pages. I want to show Haroun meeting Butt the Hoopoe, Haroun and Iff flying to the moon Kahani, and the realisation that Kahani is a water moon. I do not think I will be able to complete this in 5 pages however so I will have to go over the required amount.
Page 1 - Haroun looks at the moon Kahani and longs to travel there. Iff has a trick up his sleeve, and presents Haroun with his hand.
Page 2 - In Iff's hand are lots of tiny birds among other magical creatures, and Iff tells Haroun to choose one.
Page 3 - Haroun thinks, and chooses the Hoopoe.
Page 4 - Iff throws the miniature Hoopoe out the window, and it magically grows in size!
Page 5 - Haroun and Iff ride Butt the mechanical Hoopoe to the Moon Kahani.
Page 6 - They land on the water of the moon Kahani.
Page 7 - Haroun is surprised to see that the moon is made of water!
These will be the themes of the pages that I will be creating for my final piece.
